Tour Plan
Day 1: Luxor East Bank Attractions
In the morning, a private air-conditioned car will take you from your Cairo hotel to the airport; your guide will be waiting to meet you. The Luxor tour. You will visit the main tourist attractions, starting with:
Temple of Karnak: The site, built and expanded over time, served as the principal place of worship for the triad of Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu in Thebes. Notable features include the impressive pylons, the avenue of sphinxes connecting it to Karnak temple, and the Hypostyle Hall, which covers 54000 square feet or more. (Hypostyle means a hall with many columns supporting the roof.)
Temple of Luxor:The Luxor Temple is a significant treasure representing regal authority and connecting our world with the ancient Egyptian gods. Built around 1400 BCE by pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Horemheb, and Ramses II, it served as a site for the coronation of rulers and the revitalization of kingship.
Lunch Meal: This will be arranged at an island, so the tour will also include a boat ride.
After you have rested and relaxed at a five-star hotel, we will pick you up to go and enjoy:
Karnak's Sound and Light Show: The introduction sets the historical context by discussing the city of Thebes and how the temple Karnak was built. During the presentation, while the visitors listen to a beautiful and poetic account of the Karnak temple, the narrator unfolds the story of the amazing achievements of the greatest rulers.
Go back to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 2: Luxor West Bank Attractions
Start the day with some breakfast and bid the Luxor hotel farewell, and then head farther to Luxor, checking out the three key sites:
The Valley of the Kings: The souls of over 63 monarchs from Egypt's Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Dynasties are believed to have been reborn in the Theban Golden City, known for its golden gate. This site showcases that period's spiritual practices, funeral rites, and artistic achievements.
Temple of Hatshepsut: Queen of Hatshepsut Temple(1508–1458 BC) is an exceptional architectural wonder built to honor her legacy and house the Barque of the god Amun-Re. Its stunning design captures the Pharaoh's journey from coronation to rebirth.
Colossi of Memnon:The Colossi of Memnon are impressive 18-meter frosted quartz statues carved by Amenhotep III around 1350 BC. They honor the Greek king Memnon, his mother Tiye, and the noble Mutmeiya.
Lunch Meal: will be served at a riverside restaurant, followed by a private guided tour of the Nile River.
After lunch, the representative will take you to the airport to fly back to Cairo, followed by your transfer to the hotel.
