Tour Plan

Day 1: Fly from Hurghada to Cairo - Visit Cairo Attractions

At dawn, a representative from Beyond The Nile Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada and take you to the airport for your flight to Cairo. There, your tour guide will meet you for a two-day trip to Cairo and Luxor, where you'll explore the remarkable achievements of Ancient Egyptian civilization, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The Giza Pyramids Complex is an outstanding monument erected in honor of the achievements of the ancient homeland of Egypt. Built around 2700 BCE, these large buildings prove the advanced skills and knowledge of ancient Egyptians.

The inspirational story of the Great Pyramid of King Khufu is a historical fact from ancient Egypt's Old Kingdom, 2600 BC. The immovable structure, designed exceptionally by Hemiunu, can be spotted towering at a height of 147 m. It is a vast six-million-ton complex comprising 2.3 million limestone blocks. This pyramid also houses many hidden wonders, such as the King's chamber, the spacious void, the large corridor, the Queen's chamber, and many more.

The Sphinx is the custodian of the cosmos. The Great Sphinx, King Chephren's sculpture monument, is not only a masterpiece of art but also a mighty fortress forging the grandeur and wisdom of the Pharaoh. Moreover, it is home to the legendary Dream Steele of Thutmose IV, placed there in 1401 BC.

In 2600 BC, the Valley temple was constructed, mainly as an important venue for the then Egyptian could-be-royal family to play "gods" in bodies that could be preserved as mummies. The temple would, in turn, summon the gods to the sky, allowing the kings and queens to go up to them.

The Grand Egyptian Museum, features an impressive collection showcasing 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Highlights include the Statue of King Ramses II, the Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, and the Hanging Obelisk. Visitors can also explore the royal regalia, Grand Atrium, and Gift Shop, providing a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

Lunch Meal: enjoy a delicious lunch meal, followed by a tour of:

The enthralling Egyptian Museum, founded in 1901, is in the city of Cairo, a center of nobleness and magnificence. It intends to display ancient Egypt's fascinating history to all people.

Come back to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 2: Luxor Tourist Attractions

After your early meal, check out of your hotel. Once picked up from Cairo airport, you'll catch your flight to Luxor. A "Beyond The Nile Tours" representative will welcome you to Luxor airport. Then, a tour guide will take you in a private air-conditioned car to visit Luxor's top attractions, including:

The Valley of the Kings

The masterminds of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC) are honored, and there are 63 tombs of nobles and some of the New Kingdom's famous kings and queens. The vast maze of tombs constructed beneath the earth's crust was equally impressive in bringing to life the day's different religious beliefs and practices.

The top of the Hatshepsut Temple is the most interesting place to visit.

The Hatshepsut Temple

The Mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, a symbol of Ancient Egyptian architectural achievement, is a significant site. Retaining its original beauty, the temple was built atop the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari in 1479 BCE and features a statue that represents Hatshepsut's life and title as God's Wife of Amun-Ra.

The Colossi of Memnon

The two damaged statues are the Colossi of Memnon, a standing element next to the entrance of Luxor. These statuettes represent the ultimate virtues. The structure was constructed during the reign of King Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC). Over time, it was built in a certain way so that the Milky Way and the Nile River could be seen reflecting on it.

Lunch Meal : Finish your day eating your lunch meal at a restaurant in Luxor.

The Temple of Karnak is the largest outdoor museum in the world.

This is the place of the God Amun, who is worshiped with the Theban triad of gods: Amun, Mat, Khonsu, and many other gods. This place of worship, covering 247 acres of soil, was founded between 2000 BC and 30 AD. The most captivating thing about the temple is the Avenue of Sphinxes, a path that stretches from this temple to the other temple of Luxor.

Lastly, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel by a private air-conditioned car.
