The Valley Temple
A notable building is situated in a river valley. The mummification process, particularly the "Opening of the Mouth" ritual, highlighted the eternal essence of life and held great significance during the Egyptian Old Kingdom (2686 - 2134 BC) under King Khafre. This well-preserved valley provides valuable insights into ancient Egyptian burial practices.
