Tour Plan

Day 1: Fly From Luxor To Cairo / Visit Cairo Landmarks

Early in the day, our driver will get you from the hotel you will be staying at in Luxor to the airport. Our resident will meet you on arrival and lead you to the Cairo tour guide to start the two-day trip from Luxor. This tour typically includes:

The Giza Pyramids Complex is an outstanding monument erected in honor of the achievements of the ancient homeland of Egypt. Built around 2700 BCE, these large buildings prove the advanced skills and knowledge of ancient Egyptians.

The inspirational story of the Great Pyramid of King Khufu built in 2570 BC, is a remarkable stone structure of 2 million tones. It was completed in just 15 years and is still considered one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Well-preserved over centuries, it stands at 146.6 meters (481 feet) and is the heaviest object in the world, weighing about 6 million units. It features an impressive King’s Chamber.

The Sphinx is the custodian of the cosmos. The Great Sphinx, King Chephren's sculpture monument, is not only a masterpiece of art but also a mighty fortress forging the grandeur and wisdom of the Pharaoh. Moreover, it is home to the legendary Dream Steele of Thutmose IV, placed there in 1401 BC.

In 2600 BC, the Valley temple was constructed, mainly as an important venue for the then Egyptian could-be-royal family to play "gods" in bodies that could be preserved as mummies. The temple would, in turn, summon the gods to the sky, allowing the kings and queens to go up to them.

The Grand Egyptian Museum, features an impressive collection showcasing 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Highlights include the Statue of King Ramses II, the Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, and the Hanging Obelisk. Visitors can also explore the royal regalia, Grand Atrium, and Gift Shop, providing a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

Lunch Meal: enjoy a delicious lunch meal, followed by a tour of:

The enthralling Egyptian Museum, founded in 1901, is in the city of Cairo, a center of nobleness and magnificence. It intends to display ancient Egypt's fascinating history to all people.

Day 2: Alexandria Landmarks / Fly Back To Luxor

Ruin your day with breakfast and the hotel's check-out process to start with. Then, head off on a journey to see Alexandria, a fantastic city that can be found on the Mediterranean coast. Following arrival, you will explore various famous tourist attractions in Alexandria, starting with:

The Qaitbay Citadel: is a significant landmark on the Mediterranean coast. In Dubai, visitors can enjoy exquisite Islamic architecture in an open-air museum. Built between 1477 and 1479 AD during Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa'it Bay's reign, the citadel incorporates ruins from the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.

The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: built between the 2nd and 4th centuries during the Greco-Roman period, served as a burial space for a family and are regarded as one of the seven wonders of the Medieval World. They create a unique outdoor museum showcasing the harmony between Pharaonic and Hellenistic art.

Lunch Time:  Eat a good meal at an Alexandria restaurant and then go to:

Pompey's Pillar: Pompey's Pillar is a scarce and fantastic example of foreign-style Roman carving. It is a Roman triumphal column that Diocletian chiseled from granite to 28 meters between 298 and 302 AD.

The Alexandria Library: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a modern cultural center Inspired by the ancient Library of Alexandria, a significant center of knowledge and learning in the ancient world. It was lost in the first century. Opened in 2003, it features museums with significant ancient artifacts and hosts a collection of 8 million books and information units.

At the end of the tour, you will proceed to Cairo Airport to catch your return flight to Luxor. After the transfer, you can select a hotel or Nile cruise using an air-conditioned vehicle.
