Tour Plan
Hotel Pickup
Your Aswan sightseeing tour starts with one of our representatives picking you up from the hotel, where your private tour guide and you will meet. The tour involves viewing several of Aswan's tourist attractions, including Aswan High Dam.
Aswan High Dam
The Aswan High Dam, which was finished between 1960 and 1970, stretches the Nile River at Aswan and has profoundly influenced Egypt's economy and culture.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The unfinished obelisk is unique in its size—it is the biggest obelisk in antiquity. Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) built it to accompany the Lateran Obelisk, originally situated in Karnak. Afterward, the obelisk was moved to Lateran Palace in Rome.
Lunch Time
Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a nearby Aswan restaurant, then head to Philae Temple.
Philae Temple
The Philae temple is devoted to the goddess Isis, who represents love and beauty. The temple complex was disassembled and moved to the neighboring Agilkia Island as a component of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, safeguarding this and other complexes prior to the 1970 finalization of the Aswan High Dam.
Finally, At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.
