The Giza Pyramids Complex
Giza Pyramids Complex, One of the 7 Wonders of the World, is a historical entity that is almost 4000 years old and thus one of the oldest landmarks on earth. The complex of Giza has three main pyramids, six minor pyramids, the grand sphinx, and a place of eternal preservation called Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramids of Giza
The Great Pyramid, built in 2570 BC, is a remarkable stone structure of 2 million tones. It was completed in just 15 years and is still considered one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Well-preserved over centuries, it stands at 146.6 meters (481 feet) and is the heaviest object in the world, weighing about 6 million units. It features an impressive King’s Chamber.
The Giza Sphinx
The Great Sphinx in Horus of the Horizon was created by Pharaoh Khafre between 2558 and 2532 BC. Modeled after a lion, the Sphinx symbolizes divinity and is a guardian of immortality. Its unique characteristics are highlighted by its connection to the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV.
The Valley Temple
Valley Temple is where Mummification took place in the Old Dynasty (2686-2134 B.C., Egypt). It is one of the best preserved archaeological sites, and it has excavations of how Mummification took place in ancient Egypt. The valley is a combination of limestone and granite, with diorite statues of King Khafre.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
features an impressive collection showcasing 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Highlights include the Statue of King Ramses II, the Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, and the Hanging Obelisk. Visitors can also explore the royal regalia, Grand Atrium, and Gift Shop, providing a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

The Valley of the Kings
is an archaeological site containing masterpieces of ancient architecture. It was where the First Intermediate Period (1550-1070 BC) passed the construction representative from more than 60 magnificent tombs. The burials of ancient kings bring tourists from many countries to Luxor, who are particularly interested in the tomb of Tutankhamun.
The top of the Hatshepsut Temple is the most interesting place to visit.
The Hatshepsut Temple
The Mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, a symbol of Ancient Egyptian architectural achievement, is a significant site. Retaining its original beauty, the temple was built atop the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari in 1479 BCE and features a statue that represents Hatshepsut's life and title as God's Wife of Amun-Ra.
The Colossi of Memnon
The two damaged statues are the Colossi of Memnon, a standing element next to the entrance of Luxor. These statuettes represent the ultimate virtues. The structure was constructed during the reign of King Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC). Over time, it was built in a certain way so that the Milky Way and the Nile River could be seen reflecting on it.
Lunch Meal : Finish your day eating your lunch meal at a restaurant in Luxor.
The Temple of Karnak is the largest outdoor museum in the world.
This is the place of the God Amun, who is worshiped with the Theban triad of gods: Amun, Mat, Khonsu, and many other gods. This place of worship, covering 247 acres of soil, was founded between 2000 BC and 30 AD. The most captivating thing about the temple is the Avenue of Sphinxes, a path that stretches from this temple to the other temple of Luxor.

The High Dam: -a gigantic structure constructed to check the water flowing and the production of electricity
The face of modern Aswan, High Dam, has symbolic meaning. It was completed during 1960-1970 under the leadership of President Gamal Adel-Nasser. The dam extension, done in cooperation with the Hydro Project Institute at Moscow, helped normalize the Nile, generate hydroelectricity, and store water for agriculture in the Lake Nasser reservoir.
The incomplete obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), was designed to showcase the grandeur of an obelisk at the Karnak temple. Standing 42 meters tall and weighing 1,200 tons, this structure, known as "Tekhenu" or "to pierce the sky," broke during construction and remains in place, highlighting the challenges of raising obelisks in Ancient Egypt.
Have a pleasant meal in any of the local restaurants in Aswan before proceeding to explore the city for the rest of the day:
The Philae Temple
Philae: The Philae Temple was once a temple complex located on Philae Island in the Nile River.
The Temple of Philae, dedicated to the astral cult, depicts the myth of Isis, the Mother Goddess and Queen of the Afterlife. Her significant sacrifice was giving birth to Horus, the god of protection. Most of the temple was built between 380 and 362 BC, with further expansions from 282 to 145 BC, supported by Ptolemy II, Ptolemy VI, and Ptolemy V.
