Tour Plan

Day 1: Fly to Aswan / Visit Aswan Tourist Attractions

We will arrange a transfer from your hotel in Cairo to the airport for your early morning flight to Aswan. Your tour guide will greet you upon arrival, and you will start your Luxor and Aswan Nile cruise, exploring various attractions in Aswan, including:

Aswan High Dam: The Egyptians engineered Aswan High Dam, one of the largest modern building projects executed between 1960 and 1971. Furthermore, in 1979, another artificial lake was created to store water and generate electricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk: A golden portrait of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BCE) vividly presents her to her god as she symbolizes her awe-inspiring authority. Hatshepsut, the hottest of the hot Pharaohs, brought that interesting part to life. It could bring to light our ancient Egyptian builders' hidden mysteries.

Philae Temple: dedicated to the astral cult, depicts the myth of Isis, the Mother Goddess and Queen of the Afterlife. Her significant sacrifice was giving birth to Horus, the god of protection. Most of the temple was built between 380 and 362 BC, with further expansions from 282 to 145 BC, supported by Ptolemy II, Ptolemy VI, and Ptolemy V.

Finally, the Nile Cruise would be waiting for us to have our dinner and go to bed in paradise.

Day 2: Visit Kom Ombo Temple

On the second day of your 3-night Nile Cruise journey, you and other passengers start the day with breakfast on board and then spend the time lazing about until the afternoon. The Nile cruise will then sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will join your tour guide to visit:

The Kom Ombo Temple: This is a really unique ancient temple project established during the Ptolemaic dynasty from 180 to 47 BC. It stands out for its two religious areas, one of which is with the crocodile god Sobek—the one associated with a heap of fertility—and on the southern half by the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder) in his shrine. Both halves are identical and in perfect symmetry with the central axis.

Proceed with your Nile cruise and head for Edfu. Have your lunch and dinner on board and stay overnight on the ship.

Day 3: Explore Edfu Temple / Sail to Luxor

After the breakfast, an Egyptologist will meet you and take you to:

The Edfu Temple  is one of Egypt's most well-preserved temples. Built between 237 BC and 57 BC, it is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. The site is said to be where Horus fought his uncle Set. Its walls are decorated with stunning images and statues depicting tales of physical and spiritual victories.

Next, sail to Luxor, enjoy lunch, dinner and overnight stay on the cruise ship.

Day 4: Visit Luxor Tourist Attractions / Returning to Cairo

After breakfast, leave the Cruise ship and go with your tour guide to Luxor's most visited sightseeing spots.

The Valley of the Kings: is an archaeological site containing masterpieces of ancient architecture. It was where the First Intermediate Period (1550-1070 BC) passed the construction representative from more than 60 magnificent tombs. The burials of ancient kings bring tourists from many countries to Luxor, who are particularly interested in the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Hatshepsut temple: The Mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, a symbol of Ancient Egyptian architectural achievement, is a significant site. Retaining its original beauty, the temple was built atop the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari in 1479 BCE and features a statue that represents Hatshepsut's life and title as God's Wife of Amun-Ra.

In the ancient city of Thebes, the Colossi of Memnon stands as an enduring symbol of the bygone era of Egyptian history.
Chemically planting gold leaves onto the statues' surfaces to mimic the yellow-brown tones of these technologies methods. Memnon's two colossal statues are intriguing in this place and period.

After your meal, you will progress with your guided tour to the next stop, which is a visit to:

The Karnak Temple: The Karnak Temple is one of the best-preserved temples in the world. It stood for about 4,000 years as a sanctuary for the cult of Amun, also known as Amon Ebisu. It was called Ipet-isu, meaning "The Most Select of Places."
The complex covers approximately 2 miles and includes over 25 temples, chapels, obelisks, sanctuaries, and columns depicting the Pharaohs' heroic deeds.

Finally, you will be transferred from Luxor Airport to your hotel.
