The Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Plateau is an archaeological site home to the three best-known Pyramids (Khufu, Khafre, and Mankaure).
These pyramids are mainly made of limestone, and they are one of the few places a tourist will want to see.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid, built in 2570 BC, is a remarkable stone structure of 2 million tones. It was completed in just 15 years and is still considered one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Well-preserved over centuries, it stands at 146.6 meters (481 feet) and is the heaviest object in the world, weighing about 6 million units. It features an impressive King’s Chamber.

The Great Sphinx

The Sphinx is carved in limestone. It was made by King Khafre (c.2558–2532 BC), who was known as a legendary creature with a human head and a lion body. The structure has been there for years since it guarded the plateau.

The Valley Temple

The piece is a noticeable fact that signifies the grandeur of Egypt's past as it has been a place to preserve and embalm the king's body. It was him from the 4th dynasty.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum features an impressive collection showcasing 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Highlights include the Statue of King Ramses II, the Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, and the Hanging Obelisk. Visitors can also explore the royal regalia, Grand Atrium, and Gift Shop, providing a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

Day 3: Visit the Fascinating Sites of Luxor – Discover Karnak Temple in Egypt

After breakfast your Egyptologist guide will take you to visit the marvelous sightseeing in Luxor, such as,

Valley of the Kings:

The Valley of the Kings is the resting place of 63 tombs for some noble people, not to mention the world-known kings and queens of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC). This vast underground labyrinth with tombs was a lot of help in depicting all the religious beliefs and burials taken at that time.

The temple of Hatshepsut:

The Mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, a symbol of Ancient Egyptian architectural achievement, is a significant site. Retaining its original beauty, the temple was built atop the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari in 1479 BCE and features a statue that represents Hatshepsut's life and title as God's Wife of Amun-Ra.

The Colossi of Memnon:

Grandfather of HS Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1349 BC) is the one who brought to light these 18-metre-high giant quartzite statues, the Colossi of Memnon, in 1350 BC. He built them to adorn cities and places with the faces and life of Amenhotep and the story of the fairy-tale Memnon, the giant king of Greeks.

Karnak Temple:

The Karnak Temple is one of the best-preserved temples in the world. It stood for about 4,000 years as a sanctuary for the cult of Amun, also known as Amon Ebisu. It was called Ipet-isu, meaning "The Most Select of Places."
The complex covers approximately 2 miles and includes over 25 temples, chapels, obelisks, sanctuaries, and columns depicting the Pharaohs' heroic deeds.

We will transferred you to Travel to Luxor Airport to catch a flight back to Cairo, where you will stay overnight.
