The Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza Great Complex is a long-lasting engineering wonder and the sacred burial place of the highly revered 4th dynasty. The site consists of three significant pyramids, six small pyramids, the majestic Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2589-2566 BC), the most remarkable religious edifice in the world, was built between 2609 and 2584 BC. Each of the 2.3 million limestone blocks weighs 2 to 2.5 tons. The Great Pyramid is 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) high and holds the Grand Queen's Chamber, the King's Chamber, the Grand Gallery, and many other chambers.
The Great Sphinx
The great Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) built the Sphinx from one giant piece of limestone. The Sphinx is still a myth-making entity. It was supposed to be Giza's guardian from the skies. The Sphinx, in the mythical lion form, reached an incredible size of 73 meters (240 ft) in length, 20 meters (66 ft) in height, and 19 meters (62 ft) in width.
The Valley Temple
All the 4th dynasty monarchs were given the ritual known as the opening of the mouth, a practice that involved embalming their bodies. Next to the pyramids, one of the most well-preserved ancient Seven Wonders of the World, this one is from Egypt!
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum features an impressive collection showcasing 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Highlights include the Statue of King Ramses II, the Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Victory Column of King Merneptah, and the Hanging Obelisk. Visitors can also explore the royal regalia, Grand Atrium, and Gift Shop, providing a unique glimpse into the ancient world.

Abu Simbel Temples
They were erected during the 13th century BC as great educational monuments. Their worth was so great, in fact, that they won UNESCO World Heritage Site status in the 1970s. Their leaders also built major sanctuaries as a tribute to their victory in the conflict of Kadesh in 1274 BCE and as an honor to the Egyptian gods Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and Amon. Additionally, one of those temples was also a direct tribute to Queen Nefertiti, the wife of the pharaoh Ala, who was one of those in the Ba-Tef formation.
