Day 1: Arrival To Cairo And Dinner Cruise

Memphis, Egypt - An ancient city

Pharaoh Menes founded Memphis in 2925 BC, establishing it as the first capital of ancient Egypt, known for its White Walls. The city became a religious center dedicated to worshiping the god Ptah, particularly in the temple within the citadel, known as the Enclosure of the Ka of Ptah. The Step Pyramid of Saqqara, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is known for its architectural innovation attributed to Imhotep, the high priest of the sun god Ra. Built between 2670 and 2650 BC during the Third Dynasty, it was a burial site for Pharaoh Djoser. It is recognized as one of the earliest monumental structures featuring temples and artworks.
