Day 1: Arrive in Egypt and Dinner Cruise

Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our agent will assist you. We will be with you throughout your 8-day trip. During check-in, you'll pass through passport control with our representative from "Beyond The Nile Tours," who will help with your luggage. You'll then be taken to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile River, where you can relax with a meal and watch belly dancing. You'll also experience a captivating folklore dance and a Tannoura show inspired by the ancient whirling dervishes.

These world-famous Colossi of Memnon were made by the great King Amenhotep III (1386 - 1349 BC) in 1350 BC. They were then transported from Cairo to Luxor, a distance of about 700 meters. They were then placed into the ruins of the Amenhotep II funerary temple. Rebuilt several times, it was most famous for its acoustical qualities during the Greco-Roman period. The temple's outer walls were decorated with pictures of Hapi, the Nile god, and his divine family, who were cut in stone.
